They have done it again!

They have done it again ( Our youth leaders) another wonderful vacation bible school with about 180 children with a thrust for learning.
Just a THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT TOOK PART IN THIS FOR ALL THE YOUTH AND OUR CHURCH!!!!
Now if I can just follow the example. PRAISE GOD FOR THEIR WONDERFUL LOVE!

Easter Sunday

I know I'm not all I can be, but I'm surely not what I used to be, all because of what Jesus did for me and you!
And because of that with my lovely wife,Pastor Jerry, and his wife Susan, we went to Palm Terrace to have a Easter service for the folks that had nobody to take them some place for the day.
What a gift for US, the folks there was so happy that somebody took time out of their lives for them. After the service they had treats, which Joyce Price,Kelly Perez,Teresa Brewster, and Ann Scally had made for the folks there and the staff.
So if you are feeling bad and have things in your life that you think are so bad, stop by and say "hi" to some of the folks there in Palm Terrace, they would love it.

Another Gift!

As the 1st. of Feb. 2008 came, I have been blessed to turn 65 years old. And I can remember back at 40 years old when I was still drinking and wanted to die. I'm so greatful I ended up trying to follow God's plan for me. Because of God, that took away my desire to drink I now have a wonderful wife, friends and loving life 1 day at a time!
Last night my wife ( Joyce ) took me to dinner for my 65th. birthday, and what a great surpise!!!!! Our Pastor was there for ME! And 2 of my sponsee's also Pat & Philp. All there for me! Me of all people who didn't have the courage to kill myself in 1987, and turned it all over to God!

My Christmas Wish

My wish for Christmas, is that everyone could find the true meaning of Christmas, and come to Christ.

Fall Festival

Last night Joyce and I went to our church's first Fall Festival at the Lupton's Boggy Bottom Ranch. Our first time out there at Boggy Bottom Rance. What a beautiful place!
And the Lupton's built around God's nature instead of tearing down and building on a cleared ground.
It was a wonderful time of enjoying God's fellowship, great food and songs of faith by our great music team. What a blessing to see all these people of faith enjoying fellowship outside our church.
God is wonderful.
The only thing I was thinking is that it is sad that at our prayer meetings we only get 15 or so to show up.

1 day at a time, made 20 years today, What a blessing from God.

As I awoke this morning I first thanked God for another day, of waking up, instead of coming too from passing out from my drinking. And thanks for my friends and family in my 12 step program, and God it has totaled 20 years this day. What a wonderful life I have been blessed with and given.
Those of you of my church I give thanks and praise to each of you for your love and support. For alone, I'd not be able to do it.
For the people of my 12 step programs, thank you,thank you, thank you, for you showed me the way, through the Big Book.
And from that to the Real Big Book, the Bible, to HIM (GOD) I give all the praise, and thanks for these past 20 years.
And my loving wife, thank you for seeing something in me, and sharing our marriage with God, and me.

TTUMC VBS

What a way to start my morning! After I left home. I went to TTUMC to answer the phones and Frankie came in and said she was there to do it.
So I got to walk around to see all the helpers for VBS. Seeing God's work done by others, and the happy faces of all the children there learning about God.
I took about 25-30 pictures as I walked around. I'll be giving them to Miss Erica so if she wants, she can share them in her way.
